As of August 15, 2024, outbound travellers from the Maldives will no longer be required to complete the ‘Traveller Declaration’ form. The Government of Maldives has made this decision in line with its commitment to streamlining immigration procedures and increasing travel efficiency.

Inbound travellers, except Maldivian nationals, will still be required to fill the ‘Traveller Declaration’ form prior to their arrival in the Maldives. All other existing security and immigration checks will remain in place to guarantee the safety of all travellers.
